Caring for your new eyelashes should be a simple process & your daily routine should not change from the norm. We suggest following these tips to help your eyelash extensions stay healthy and last longer.
DON’T get your lashes wet for 12- 24 hours. Avoid running water directly on your lashes.
DON’T perm or tint your lashes.
DON’T use an eyelash curler of any kind.
DON’T pull on your lashes. This may cause your natural lashes to come out prematurely.
DON’T rub your eyes, especially for first 24 hours.
Avoid hot steam, sauna, or sweating for first 24 hours.
If you choose to wear mascara, go oil-free. We highly suggest using Xtreme Lash Length & Volume Mascara
Only apply your water based mascara from middle to tip (avoid root area of lash).
Comb your lashes daily with a mascara brush. To avoid any crossed lashes, use this wand to brush them in the direction you would like them to go.
We suggest using an oil free cleanser like Xtreme Lash Eye Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser to help the glue from your lashes last longer.
When removing your eyeliner, use a Lint Free Q-tip. Our favorite is the Lint-Free Applicator by Xtreme Lash.
Try to avoid sleeping directly on your new lashes. Sleeping on your back or side would be best!
Pat dry any excessive oil or face cream on the face before going to bed.
Make sure to schedule regular touch up appointments to maintain your new lashes (every 2-4 weeks).
Do not try to remove your lashes yourself, please schedule an appointment with us or a professional eyelash specialist.
